I have been involved with Rotax since 1997, First in the UAE for the agent there for 9 years then in France for 3 years at Avirex, finally working at the factory in Gunskirken Austria for 2 years.

Over this time I have attended and latter run many courses on all the Rotax aircraft engine sections products. SAS is IMRT Heavy Maintenance approved and a Rotax Approved Support Centre.

A new engine installation is a complicated and expensive part of your aeroplane. An initial inspection or commissioning involves checking that the engine, engine mount and all ancillaries are mounted, situated and plumbed according to Rotax guidelines .
Ensuring first start is most important for the engine service life and also aids any warranty issues being done by a recognised IMRT (Independent Maintenance Rotax technician).
