Special Aviation services offer the following on Rotax  912 series engines:

  • Standard Rotax maintenance schedule servicing, at 25, 100, and 200 hours

  • Carburettor balancing and servicing

  • Gearbox servicing at 600 or 1000 hours ( with slipper clutch)

  • Complete engine overhauls, engine rebuilds (Noncertified units only) and all heavy maintenance. UK Independent Rotax maintenance technician Heavy Qualified.

  • Fuel injection system fault finding

  • Shock load inspections

  • Sprag clutch replacement

  • Water pump seal replacement

  • Ignition easy start fitment including change of flywheel

  • Crankshaft inspections.

  • Cylinder head work, valve replacement, lapping to cylinders

  • Soda blasting of components

  • NDT on gearbox and crankshaft components

  • Propeller pitch adjustments

Rotax 2 stroke engine only with CDI ignition :

  • De coke and servicing

  • Rebuilding including re boring and honing of cylinders

  • Gearbox  servicing and repair

    Some services are workshop only but the majority are offered on a mobile service.

Woodcomp Propellers UK Agent Services:


  • Woodcomp Klassic prop 170/3 — Always in stock as this is a very popular prop fitted to many different aircraft.
  • Most parts for the Sr 3000 Variable pitch propellers and the new N model held.

 We static balance all propeller type and makes (Non certified).
